On February 17, 2026, second-year students from the Biology Education Department, Faculty of Education, Tishk International University, visited the Erbil Agricultural Research Directorate to explore the Insect Museum as part of their practical entomology studies. The field trip was supervised by Ms. Sawsan Hamid and Ms. Shnyar Qadir.
The visit provided students with valuable hands-on experience, enhanced their understanding of insect biodiversity and pest management, and strengthened the connection between classroom learning and realworld agricultural applications. The activity also encouraged scientific observation and deepened students’ appreciation of the role of insects in ecosystems and agriculture.
