Dean of Students at Tishk International University arranged food fundraising events with all the faculty students and staff on February 22, 2021,
at TIU to support and promote the Mercy Corner #2021 project.
Dean of Students annually organizes food fundraising projects in which the students and staff bring and sell all types of food, desserts, drinks, etc. Volunteer students actively take part in preparing and selling the foods, which gives them a broader vision to understand the value of social responsibilities.
The event aimed to collect financial support for the IDPs and refugees. This year’s food fundraising event was held in front of the main building due to the pandemic with applying all the health instructions, and all in there worked hardly and voluntarily to perform best for the project. Nearly 4.800.000 IQD were collected from the fundraising.
