A Workshop On Renewable Futures Panel: Pioneering Solutions for Climate Resilience (Announcement)
In collaboration with Hasar Organization, the Biology Education Department, Faculty of Education at Tishk International University (TIU), is excited to announce a workshop titled “Renewable Futures Panel: Pioneering Solutions for Climate Resilience.” This workshop is part of the department’s activities aimed at SDG 15 life on land and supporting land ecosystems through education. The event is scheduled to take place from May 15th, 2024 (13:30-16:15) at Tishk International University, Education Building #302.
The phenomenon of climate change presents a substantial peril to our nation, carrying the capacity to unleash catastrophic events of unparalleled magnitude upon Kurdistan and Iraq. To acknowledge this upcoming challenge, the Renewable Futures panel unites various stakeholders who are dedicated to creating a course of action for climate resilience.
During the session, all participants will demonstrate their strategic support for climate action projects, emphasising their dedication to not only reducing the effects of climate change but also promoting resilience in the face of challenges. The panellists will exhibit their initiatives, illustrating tangible measures towards sustainability and providing valuable perspectives on the extensive prospects inherent in climate action projects.
