On May 20, 2025, first-grade students from the Biology Education Department at Tishk International University organized an educational field trip to the Erbil Zoo. The trip was a valuable hands-on learning experience, providing students with the opportunity to observe a variety of animals and learn about their habitats, behaviors, and conservation needs.
Guided by the zoo’s staff, students deepened their understanding of key biological concepts and the importance of protecting wildlife.
