The Biology Education Department at Tishk International University is pleased to announce the 5th National Workshop on Diabetes Management, scheduled for Thursday, November 27, 2025, from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM. The event will take place at the Education Building, Room 302.

This year’s workshop, titled “Multidisciplinary Approaches to Understanding the Development and Treatment of Diabetes,” will bring together specialists from various medical fields to provide comprehensive insights into diabetes care.

Participants will benefit from a series of educational sessions that integrate both medical and nutritional perspectives on diabetes, as well as interactive Q&A segments and case-based discussions guided by leading experts.

The panel of speakers includes:

  • Dr. Bland Bayar, M.B.Ch.B – Diabetes Specialist

  • Dr. Salah Sinjary – Cardiologist, Consultant Internist

  • Dr. Jovan Taha, M.B.Ch.B, F.K.B.M.S – Nephrology

  • Dr. Sadir Almalih, M.B.Ch.B, F.K.H.C.M.S (Ophthalmology)

The workshop aims to enhance the understanding of diabetes development, complications, and treatment strategies by bridging knowledge across specialties.
