On Tuesday, May 27, 2025, the Physics Education Department at Tishk International University successfully arranged a poster presentation for fourth-grade students, showcasing their work from the Solid State Physics course.
A Display of Innovation
As part of their coursework, students created informative and visually engaging posters that covered a variety of complex topics, including semiconductors, crystal structures, electrical conductivity, and superconductivity. This activity was designed to strengthen their theoretical understanding through practical application and peer learning. Each student had the opportunity to present their subject, explain core concepts, and answer questions from faculty and peers.
Fostering Academic Excellence
Faculty members praised the students for their scientific approach, creativity, and their ability to clearly communicate complex concepts. The event not only highlighted the students’ academic achievements but also helped develop crucial research and presentation skills—essential tools for their future careers as educators and researchers.
This poster presentation is a testament to the department’s commitment to active learning and academic excellence, providing platforms that enhance student understanding and confidence in the field of physics.
