Dear students,
Physics is one of the most fundamental sciences concerned with asking questions and trying to answer them by observing and experimenting. We understand that studying physics can be challenging, and that is what makes it more interesting and more important. The development of technology in the past century has demonstrated that, more often than not, the technology of tomorrow starts with physics today.
The main focus of our undergraduate programs in the physics education department is to teach the basics of physics, thereby preparing our students to face the advanced courses with much more confidence, giving our students the ability to measure, describe, and explain natural phenomena through scientific investigation, and providing sufficient laboratory skills and educational methodologies.
Our program will offer Introduction to Physics, Mechanics, Electricity and Magnetism, Materials Science, Wave and Optics, Modern Physics, Advanced Mechanics, Electronics, Nuclear Physics, Quantum Physics, Thermodynamics, and Solid State Physics. Beside these, the Physics Education Department will offer Calculus, Introduction to IT, Educational Psychology, and Advanced English.
I invite you to share your ideas about our future and join us in the many events we have planned in the department. Quality in work, respect for variety, and distinguished citizenship are our prospects.
Sincerely,
Head of Physics Education Department
