Weekly Seminar on Introduction to Practice Teaching On October 10th, 2022, the Department of Physics Education, Faculty of Education at Tishk International University held its weekly seminar titled: Introduction to Practice Teaching. 1st Grade Students Poster Exhibition On June 14th, 2022, the Physics Education Department, Faculty of Education at Tishk International University, organised a Poster Exhibition for 1st-grade students titled: Introduction to Mathematics. The project aimed to provide a scientific environment and introduce this type of event to 1st-grade students. Although this was a new experience for the freshmen, they successfully presented their posters and significantly participated in the exhibition. Material Adaptation and Development Exhibition The Department of Physics Education, Faculty of Education at Tishk International University, organized the Material Adaptation and Development Exhibition on May 31st, 2022, under the supervision of Dr Semih Aydin. The exhibition corresponds to the Material Adaptation Academic Course for fourth-stage students. Students were provided with three different materials each and were required to explain ten topics of each material within the physics field. Designing a Public School Classroom with Scientific Materials Physics Education Department students organized a social project of decorating a public school classroom with scientific materials. The project was part of the Introduction to Education Course and supervised by the course lecturer Dr Aziza Kavlu. Thirteen students participated by working in pairs to present 8 projects in total, which was successfully accomplished on March 29th, 2022. The project provided students with an opportunity to serve society by designing and decorating a classroom in a public school (Darsem Primary School).
