The exhibition of ''Thinking  About Physics Exhibition'' was re-arranged on the 21st May 2017 to the participants and guests in ICASEE Conference.   ''Thinking  About Physics Exhibition'' was an exhibition that included the role of 15 scientific figures, some of them as Albert Einstein, Isaac Newton, Alessandro Volta, Galileo Galilei, Mariam “Al-Astrolabiya” Al-Ijliya, Ibn Al-Haytham, Muhammad Ibn Musa Al-Khwarizmi, Abbas Ibn Firnas, Michio Kaku, Bill Nye. Today`s technology was originated with the work of scientists in the past history An exhibition was organized on the 18th of May 2017 to present more than 15 scientific figures of modern and ancient times. This exhibition was for the staff of the faculty and students of the other departments. In this exhibition the focus is on the improvement of science from the first step till today that done by the scientists from physics and mathematics field. On Tuesday 10th of January, 2017 the Department of Physics Education held the astronomy model presentation at the entrance of the faculty of education building. Students prepared various 3-D Astronomy models. A group of jury members judge their presentations and models.     

On 25th of May 2017 there was an activity of the second grade physics education students about Earth Science. It took place in the Education Faculty Building main entrance hall.  Students prepared three dimensional (3-D) models and poster exhibition about different topics of Earth Structure and Space. They presented their works to the jury members of physics education department. Students from other departments also visited the exhibition.

On Thursday 8 of June 2017, third workshop was held by the staff of Physics Education Department at Tishk International University Physics laboratory. In the workshop a number of physics teachers participated from different schools in Erbil. Workshop started in the morning and teachers did three experiments on: ·  Determination of gravitational constant with motion detector, ·  Determination of air resistance with motion detector, and ·  Determination of Newton's second law of motion with air track and motion detector. In these experiments teachers studied on real data taken by motion detectors and used computers to analyze the data. Teachers filled out the reports [...]

On Wednesday 10 of May 2017, second workshop was held by the staff of Physics Education Department at Tishk International University Physics laboratory. In the workshop a number of physics teachers participated from different schools in Erbil. Workshop started after lunch time and teachers did two experiments about circular motion and oscillation. Teachers filled out the experiment reports during the experiments. This is the second session of continuum “National Workshop on Physics Experiments” series.  

On 27 th of April 2017 two presentations were presented, the first one on "Influence of fake science on community" presented by Mr. AKAM MOHAMMED the founder of (Physics for Kurd)'s website  and "on the weird  nature of quantum mechanics and common sense" by Mr.MUHSIN BURHAN  research assistant in physics department –college of Science - Sulaimaniah University and the general manager of (Physics 4 Kurd)'s website, the presentation was for the first, second and third grade students in physics education department.  

On 10th of May 2017, the department of Physics Education held a poster and 3- D model exhibition on Modern Physics. Students of third grade of physics education department prepared posters and models on different topics about modern physics from the beginning of the history of modern physics to the applications of modern physics in real life. Students explained their projects to every jury members.  Physics department staff and guest physics teachers from different schools evaluated student projects as jury members.
