Physics Education Department at Tishk International University has organized a student workshop on Graduation Research Projects. It was held on May 27, 2018 at Education Faculty build conference hall. Senior (4th grade) students presented their researches to staffs and 3rd grade students. The aim was to give ideas to 3rd grade students about graduation projects and to share experiences. On 24.05.2018, the 3rd year students under the supervision of Dr. Duran Kala prepared posters about given topics related to the general biology course. They tried to explain their posters to jury members and the visitors. The aim of this exhibition was to develop teaching and research study ability of future Physics teachers in general biology. First year students of Physics with Biology and Math departments conducted a workshop about “The Effective methods for learning languages practically” on Wednesday 23rd May. Mr. Sarwan Hasan (a lecturer in ELT Department) organized and supervised the workshop with the Cooperation of Foundation teachers (Mr. Unal, Mr. Fatih and Mr. Rizgar). The workshop contained 18 different ideas as effective methods for learning languages practically. It started at 12:00 PM at the entrance of the Faculty of Education and continued for two hours. On 22th May 2018, Physics Education Department at Tishk International University, organized an Exhibition on Advanced Mechanics 3D Model under the direct supervision of Dr Azeez Barzinjy. Third year students present 15 different Physics model in which are related to the Advanced Mechanics topics.  Our staff jury members and the audiences from different departments have been highly interacted with the models. Students’ discussion was highly satisfied all the attendance. According to the feedbacks students should work on these models afterward to bring them to our daily life inevitabilities. [wds id="36"]

On 20th of May 2018, Physics Education Department at Tishk International University organized an engaging workshop for Dr Azeez Abdullah Barzinjy under the title of “28 years with the beauty of Islamic calligraphy”. Dr Azeez Barzinjy brought the audience to his starting point in his calligraphy world. He presents his certificates, booklets, achievements, classical and modern works. Dr Azeez’s workshop end with artful environment with writing all the audiences’ name. [wds id="34"]

On 17th of May 2018, Physics Education Department at Tishk International University, organized 1st Student Workshop on the Essence of Quantum Mechanics under the direct supervision of Dr Azeez Barzinjy. The event started with the fully quantum environment with a keynote speech given by Dr Azeez Barzinjy entitled as “The Beauty of Quantum Mechanics”. Then seven valuable topics were presented by fourth year students in pairs which they covered the recent topics of Quantum Mechanics.  Four jury members have been invited from Salahaddin University to evaluate the student’s presentations. On 17th of May 2018, Physics Education Department at Tishk International University, organized a poster presentation on Modern Physics under the direct supervision of Dr. Azeez Barzinjy. The 3rd year students presented 15 valuable posters in which they covered mostly the recent topics of Modern Physics.  Four jury members have been invited from Salahaddin University to evaluate the posters. Students discussion was satisfied all the attendance including President of Salahaddin University, Dr. Ahmed Dzayee and Dr. Idris Hadi Salih, Chairman of Board of Trustees and Acting President of Tishk International University. Table Tennis Tournament for all students organized by Education Faculty on May 10, 2018, and the final match was on May 15, 2018. In the final match, Mustafa Basim Naje from Physics Education Department, after performing a beautiful game won the final match. Mr. Pashew Majid, Head of ELT Department, awarded the winner of 1st place, and then he appreciated him for his performance. [wds id="32"]

On 15.05.2018, after the final match of the Football Tournament, Dr. Süleyman Çelik as Dean of Education Faculty invited the champion team of the Football Tournament for dinner. [wds id="31"]

Education Faculty at Tishk International University organized a Football Tournament starting from 4th May till the 15th of May, 2018. Each stage in all departments had own team and they participated in the tournament in which all the teams had the great friendship and fair play. On 15th of May, 2018 the final match was played between Second year and Fourth year students in Physics Education Department. The champion team was the Second year students in Physics Education Department.
