The Department of Physics Education organized a Poster Presentation on biophysics for second-grade Biology Education students on May 27th, 2021. The aim of the activity was to expand students' knowledge in the subject, and engage them in learning. This projects also helps motivate the students to study and search more on the field of biophysics. [wds id="55"]

On December 9th 2020, the Department of Physics conducted an orientation program for the first grade students of the department. During the first day of the program, a presentation was given about the university in general, the physics department and how to operate on the university's system. All departmental staff joined the program to introduce themselves to the newcomers and welcome them onboard. After a coffee break, the freshmen toured the University in order to become familiar with all the university's facilities, and learn more about student life, culture on campus and explore the other programs offered by our institution. The Physics Education Department organised a poster presentation event for MATLAB projects of 3rd grade students, on Thursday 7th, January 2021. This poster project was part of the PHYS 340/P Computer Programming course. Around 30 students participated in this activity, and presented their projects under the supervision of Ms. Slvar Abdulaziz, Jury member of both Computer Engineering and Physics Education Departments, who also evaluated the student's performance. On December 25, 2020, 3rd grade students from department of physics education presented their posters and 3D models about sound and wave lesson. This activity was a part of the course PHYS 303 Sound and Wave Motion. The aim of this poster exhibition was to make students more knowledgeable about the applications of the lesson in our daily life, engage them to the lesson, and to improve their presentation ability in front of people as well.
