Orientation Day for Freshmen 2020-2021 On the 18th of December, 2021, the Physics Department of the Faculty of Education at Tishk International University organized an orientation day for freshmen students of the new academic year, 2021-2022. The program included a seminar regarding online course registration and covered important guidelines and policies of the University. The newcomers were also toured around the campus and paid a visit to the labs and library. Food Fundraising 2021-2022 On Tuesday 14th of December, 2021, the Dean of Students arranged a food fundraising event at Tishk International University. As part of the MercyCorner Project, staff and students volunteer to raise funds for IDPs and people in need, by preparing and selling homemade food, desserts, drinks...etc. This year, the income of the event is used in several charity projects such as sponsoring students in need, supporting martyrs’ children's education, providing accommodation for the students from outside the city, etc. Students and staff members of the Physics Department at the Faculty of Education actively contributed to the event and [...]

Physics in Art and Creativity Fourth stage students of the Physics Education Department, Shahd Nawzad Ali, Sara Hassan, and Sumaya Yusuf, participated in a voluntary art activity. The young professionals painted the solar system on one of the walls in the Education Building in Tishk International University. The illustration also included some information writing on the planets. The painting, which was finalized on July 2nd, aimed to express the beauty of physics and our solar system through art and creativity. [wds id="62"]
The Department of Physics Education held its weekly seminar under the title of “Astronomy Club”, on Wednesday September 22nd, 2021. The seminar was presented by Mr. Sebur Salih & Ms. Payam Najmadden of the Department of Physics Education, with participating department’s staff. The Department of Physics demonstrated two new experiments to mark the start of the new academic year of 2021-2022. On Wednesday September 15th, 2021, the Department of Physics Education held its weekly seminar under the title of “A Literature review of publications trends to shape memory alloys by using bibliometrics analysis”.
