On December 12th, 2022, the Physics Education Department, Faculty of Education at Tishk International University, conducted an exhibition on research projects. In this exhibition, the fourth-stage students had an excellent opportunity to present and share their ideas and prospects with other students and those interested in research projects. On December 18th, 2022, Associated Professor Dr Azeez Abdullah Barzinjy participated as a supervisor and discussion committee member in an MSc. Defence by Vinos Musher Faris, under the supervision of Prof. Dr Samir M. Hamad and Associated Prof. Dr Azeez A. Barzinjy, held in the Scientific Research Center at Soran University. The thesis discussed Green Synthesis of Metal, Metal Oxide and Composite Nanoparticles for Harvesting Solar Energy. We congratulate both the student and her supervisors for their outstanding achievements.

Computer Programming Poster Presentation The Department of Physics Education, Faculty of Education at Tishk International University, organised a Poster Exhibition on Computer Programming on December 11th, 2022. Ms. Silvar Abdulaziz supervised this activity that was held for third-grade students. The exhibition’s purpose was to broaden students’ knowledge of computer programming and connect computer education to the field of physics. New Scientific Research paper published by our academic staff Associated Professor Dr Azeez Abdullah Barzinjy and Banaz Shahab Haji from (Salahaddin University) entitled (Citrullus Colocynthis Fruit Extract Mediated Green Synthesis of Silver Nanoparticles: The Impact of pH, Temperature, and Silver Nitrate Concentration) in the e-Journal of Surface Science and Nanotechnology, which is on the Q3 list and has an impact factor 0.545. A Field Trip to Physics Laboratories at Koya University

On December 6th, 2022, the Physics Education Department, Faculty of Education at Tishk International University, organised a scientific trip for fourth-grade students to Koya University. During the trip, students and their supervisor tour the Nuclear Physics Laboratory at the university. Mr. Shallaw Zrar is a Lecturer at Koya University and TIU in the Physics Department.
