A Seminar about the dt search

2018-04-06T17:35:52+03:00

on 26.11.2018, a seminar is presented by Dr Karwan Wasman which was organized by Physics Education department. The seminar was an introduction to dtSearch Desktop product which helps lecturers and students who seek to reduce the search time by expanding the knowledge of researchers to more effectively use the “tools” that are available through the Net, converts the information of the search for a written document, develops a search strategy, Finding keyword, Finding proper articles, books, ... We would like to thank Dr Karwan Wasman for giving us his valuable times during the seminar. ???????????????? ????????????????

Physics is Fun!- Writing “Tishk International ” with the Balloons of Static electricity

2018-06-03T08:15:18+03:00

On February 22, 2018 Electrostatic Force Demonstration with balloons was performed by our second grade students. This activity is a part of “Electricity and Magnetism” course which helps the students to learn easier and more enjoyable with learning Physics.  As it is seen in the pictures, the students wrote “Tishk International ” which is meant Tishk International University.

What is Nanotechnology?

2017-12-23T19:03:04+03:00

Nanotechnology is science, engineering, and technology conducted at the nanoscale, which is about 1 to 100 nanometers. Nanotechnology is a highly interdisciplinary area; meaning that it involves ideas integrated from many traditional disciplines can be used across all the other science fields, such as physics, chemistry, biology, materials science, and engineering. Scientists have discovered that materials at small dimensions/small particles, thin films, etc- can have significantly different properties than the same materials at larger scale. There are thus endless possibilities for improved devices, structures, and materials if we can understand these differences, and learn how to control the assembly of small [...]
