Seminar For Orientation Day for First Year Students 2022-2023 On the 12th of January, 2023, the Physics Department of the Faculty of Education at Tishk International University organized seminars on orientation day for first-year students of the new academic year, 2022-2023. The purpose of the orientation program was to welcome the new first-stage students and to introduce departmental staff members, university procedures, and the university environment. On December 12th, 2022, the Physics Education Department, Faculty of Education at Tishk International University, conducted an exhibition on research projects. In this exhibition, the fourth-stage students had an excellent opportunity to present and share their ideas and prospects with other students and those interested in research projects. Their work was evaluated and judged by the Physics Education Department panel members. Also, Asst. Prof. Dr. Abdulsamad S. On December 18th, 2022, Associated Professor Dr Azeez Abdullah Barzinjy participated as a supervisor and discussion committee member in an MSc. Defence by Vinos Musher Faris, under the supervision of Prof. Dr Samir M. Hamad and Associated Prof. Dr Azeez A. Barzinjy, held in the Scientific Research Center at Soran University. The thesis discussed Green Synthesis of Metal, Metal Oxide and Composite Nanoparticles for Harvesting Solar Energy. We congratulate both the student and her supervisors for their outstanding achievements.

Computer Programming Poster Presentation The Department of Physics Education, Faculty of Education at Tishk International University, organised a Poster Exhibition on Computer Programming on December 11th, 2022. Ms. Silvar Abdulaziz supervised this activity that was held for third-grade students. The exhibition’s purpose was to broaden students’ knowledge of computer programming and connect computer education to the field of physics.
