Bridging Theory and Practice: Micro-Teaching Seminar for Senior Physics Students

On October 8, 2025, the Physics Education Department organized an insightful seminar for senior students enrolled in the Practice Teaching course, delivered by Ms. Fatimah Saadi. The session aimed to strengthen students’ understanding of both the practical and methodological dimensions of practice teaching and micro-teaching.

Ms. Fatimah explained the structure and objectives of the weekly teaching tasks, highlighting the importance of consistent lesson preparation, classroom delivery, and reflective evaluation in developing professional competence. She then introduced the core principles of micro-teaching, outlining its planning stages, procedural steps, and its value in improving teaching strategies, communication skills, and instructional confidence.

Throughout the session, students learned how to approach each teaching task effectively and how micro-teaching can serve as a bridge between theoretical knowledge and real classroom application. The seminar reaffirmed the department’s commitment to preparing students to become skilled, reflective, and adaptive future educators.
