Erbil, Kurdistan – October 15, 2024 — The Physics Education Department at the Faculty of Education, Tishk International University (TIU), hosted a special “Breakfast with Future Physicists” event. This informal gathering brought faculty and students together for a morning of conversation and community building. The event aimed to foster a relaxed atmosphere for students to connect with their academic staff and discuss their goals for the new academic year.

Building a Stronger Community

Dr. Pishtiwan Akrem, the head of the department, expressed his excitement for the new academic year and emphasized the importance of developing strong relationships within the department. He noted, “This is more than just a breakfast; it’s about building a network of support where students can feel comfortable asking for help, discussing ideas, and becoming better physicists in the future.”

The event provided a unique opportunity for students to engage with their lecturers on a personal level, allowing them to discuss both academic and non-academic matters. This friendly environment helps students feel more at ease with their instructors throughout the year.

The department plans to make this breakfast a tradition, as it helps strengthen the bond between students and faculty and contributes to a friendlier academic environment.
