In Physics Education Department, a group of staffs did a research on the effect of field trips in better understanding physics topics. The research was about a case study done to Dukan Dam as a part of Electricity and Magnetism course. On 29.04.2018 the researchers presented their study with the title of "The Effect of Field Trips on Building Positive Attitudes towards Physics" in the 9th International Visible Conference on Education and Applied Linguistics -VESAL conference. ????????????????

On 29.04.2018, a seminar was presented about “How to be a successful student in university and overcome stress” to empower the first grade students of physics education. The seminar was presented by Payam Najmaddeen and Mr. Mohammad Salm who are students in 3rd year of physics education; they talked about the studding of academic courses, importance of self-confidence, the ways of being a successful student in university and the factors to be successful. Tishk International University has held 3rd International Spring Festival of Language, Culture, and Science on April 25, 2018, with the participant of general consulates, representatives of the ministry of higher educations and all students of Tishk International University. First year students of Physics with Biology and Math Departments conducted a workshop about “Soft Skills” on Wednesday 11th April. Mr. Sarwan Hasan, who is a lecturer in Education Faculty, supervised the workshop with the cooperation of foundation teachers as Mr. Unal and Mr. Rizgar. And the event has been done within the presence of Lecturers, Administration Staff, and student’s families.
