On December 17th, 2018, Physics Education Department, Faculty of Education, Tishk International University organized an exhibition about Astronomy, a core course for 3rd-year students at the Physics department. Students presented astronomical prototypes included both posters and 3-D models relevant to their study. The exhibition is considered one of the most fascinating subjects in the Physics department. The aim of the exhibition was to improve students’ presentation skills and their teaching abilities. Tishk International University organized an event to dignify flag day at KRG. Staff and students shared the moments. Traditional activities and foods were prepared by the students. Many thanks to Tishk International and to those who made this event more cheerful.

As Physics Education department at Tishk International University, we are glad to welcome freshman physics. Congratulations to your acceptance in the physics education department, Tishk International University. The physics education department is an effective platform for successful physics teacher candidates. In our department, our motto is “Physics is everywhere!” Wherever, whenever, whatever you look at, physics exists. Everybody is engaged with physics wherever is he or she! Students were first received in the Physics department in 2014, and the first batch was graduated in 2018. The physics education department has a broad vision to prepare physics teachers with updated knowledge, having a worthy background in physics and modern teaching methods.
