At the end of the workshop event, certificates and awards were distributed to the participant by the organizing committee members. Awards and special certificate were given at the end of a distinguished presentation. the organizing committee would like to thank Mr Sirwan Kattani from Clever Scientific Company for his kindness and being sponsorship (500 USD) to the 3rd NW.
Sixth talk was given to Dr. Emad O. Badradeen. The title of his talk was: High Performance Nanostructured Flexible Photodetector Devices. Flexible electronics have attracted significant attention in various areas, such as flexible displays, sensors, batteries, solar panels, and health care monitoring. This talk presented the design, fabrication, and test of flexible nanostructured photodetectors constructed with vertically aligned nanorods bonded to a flexible polymeric substrate.
The fifth talk was given by Dr. Dler A. Jameel from Zakho university. The title of his talk was: Nanotechnology and enhancement of Solar Efficiency and the Electrical Properties of Conducting Polymers. As it is known the solar cells are considered as one of the key technologies towards the available and sustainable energy resource. Also, solar cell has demonstrated a promising impact in delivering clean energy worldwide. Dr. Dler talked about their investigation on the effect of thickness of polymer (Sulfonated polyaniline) and the type of substrate orientations (Gallium arsenide) on the proposed solar cell efficiency.
