In Physics, having academic field trip is important and enjoyable element of our education system. We organized an academic field trip to Darbandikhan Dam on 30th of March 2017 in Sulaimani. The aim of the field trip was to observe and to learn how to produce electricity from a dam. Our students significantly enhanced the content of the course by providing a type of information hard to convey in the class.
Before going to Derbandikhan trip, a field trip questionnaire booklet was prepared for the students during the tour then inside the dam students listened the presenter and took notes in the booklet.
We would like to thank the Head of hydroelectric power generation unit, Faruq Ahmed for accepting our request and introducing our students to Darbandikhan Dam.
