On February 19, 2025, the Physics Education Department at Tishk International University organized an educational scientific trip to the Dukan Dam for second, third, and fourth-grade students. The purpose of the trip was to provide practical insights into hydroelectric power generation as a part of their curriculum.

A Hands-on Learning Experience

The trip offered students a unique opportunity to witness the entire process of converting water’s kinetic energy into electrical energy. They observed how the dam’s turbines and generators operate, reinforcing fundamental concepts of physics and engineering. The experience bridged the gap between theoretical knowledge and real-world application, making abstract principles tangible.
