Tishk International University (TIU), Erbil — Educators and academics gathered on November 6, 2024, at the 6th National Workshop on Innovative Teaching Skills in Physics, a landmark event focused on empowering educators with character-building tools for effective teaching. The workshop’s theme, “Building Character for Effective Teaching: Unveiling the Key Qualities of Impactful Educators,” aligns with UN Sustainable Development Goal 4: Quality Education by focusing on teacher training and professional development.

The event, which highlighted the link between ethical values and educational impact, began with an opening ceremony led by the Physics Education Department at TIU. The sessions featured prominent professors, faculty members, and emerging educators.
The first session was chaired by Mr. Reman Sabah and included keynote speeches from:
- Prof. Dr. Uthman Muhammed Gharib from Salahaddin University, who spoke on the ethical principles of impactful educators.
- Prof. Dr. Azeez A. Barzinjy from Soran University and TIU, who delivered a presentation on shaping future leaders through strong scientific foundations.
