Rawand Sabah is ELT  Assistant Lecturer and alumni of the TEA Program, lately participated in the program. To share the experience with teachers, he presented a seminar on “The Teaching Excellence and Achievement Program”, a program of the Bureau of Education and Cultural Affairs of the U.S. Department of State and implemented by IREX. It is six-week academic and field experience program to develop expertise in the subject areas, enhance teaching skills, and increase knowledge about the United States.
At the beginning of the seminar, the presenter mentioned the 21st skills and themes, and how these skills and themes were reflected on the objectives of the program itself and the US schooling and educational systems. Later the presenter talked about the main components of the program. The program was composed of academic courses, field experience, and cultural settings. Finally the alumni described the components in details.
