Introduction to Literary Theories (ELT 350) introduces students to different literary theories. These are different reading theories that widen their perspectives. The aim of this course is to acquaint students with different modern and contemporary literary theories and show them how to apply them on different literary texts and also movies. By the end of the semester, students should be able to:
- Identify modern and contemporary literary theories
- Understand the major principles of each literary theory
- Evaluate modern and contemporary literary theories
- Apply modern and contemporary literary theories to literary texts and movies
21st Century Learning:

21st Century Learning course is predominantly about teaching and learning in the 21st century. The primary aim of the course is specifically to unveil the issues of 21st century education and contemporary education. It is in the objective of this course to expose learners with sufficient content and examples of 21st century education. This course also tackles the questions of the 21st century major concepts of 21st century education and those skills are implemented and how to teach the skills.
