As a constant part of the students' activities, motivations and projects, the Faculty of Education in the University of Tishk International has hold a series of debates under the name of The Competition Debate of 2018. Starting from the 7th February, the debate was finalized on the 1st March 2018. The competition contained 16 volunteer groups from the departments of ELT, Physics, Biology, and Math. The topics of the debate were  controversial and arguable . On 14/02/2017, the 3rd talk of Kurdistan Student Talks (KST) was presented by Mohemmed W. Saleh. He presented a presentation entitled “Sustainable Development”.The seminar was presented at Tishk International University, Dentistry Building.

ELT Book Report Exhibition

On April 3, 2017 a book report exhibition was held by the English Language Teaching Department at the Faculty of Education. ELT fourth grade students, under the supervision of Dr. Basil Q. Muhammad, exhibited their individual depictions of the story of Swan Lake in the form of creative book reports. The exhibition was held in the Faculty of Education building, and was launched by Dr. Suleyman Celik, Dean of the Education Faculty. Students' projects won the pleasure of all attendants, and were academically evaluated by three jury members for the course of TEFL: Literature.

Belief, and Challenging Yourself – 2nd KST

The 2nd talk of Kurdistan Student Talks (KST) was delivered by Sarah Fadhil, an IT student from the American University of Iraq – Sulaimani. Sarah talked about belief and the power of keeping belief in yourself for success. She further discussed the imperative to challenge oneself for success as an individual and seizing opportunities when they appear to show themselves and when they show change within one as inevitable.
