ELT’s forth year students are going on presenting their creatives. This time they presented their skills in different organizations. For developing themselves in “Material adaptation Development” lesson, sixteen students presented different graphic organizations from different skills and the fields of language like: Grammar, vocabulary and reading. Another session was added to English Language Teaching Department‘s the Professional Development Session Series by Assistant Lecturer Mr. Ibrahim Nişancı. He presented a seminar to the Education Faculty under the title of “Some tools for Flipped Classroom”. The web based tools were suggested to educators that can be applied in a Flipped classroom to produce an alternative classroom. The importance of using online teaching application was shown during the workshop. Such online application tools can facilitate the teachers’ duty to an immense extent.
The ELTs’ futuristic future teachers showcased their imaginations to produce a classroom of their future. The imaginative Mr.Basar Batur, an assistant lecturer at the ELT department, presented the chance of showing the futuristic teachers’ creativities of designing their future classroom, through organizing an exhibition under the title of My future Classroom. The modern classroom exhibition event was held at the Education Faculty building. Different organizations of classrooms were presented. This event is a part of a Classroom Management course that Mr. Batur is teaching in the department.

The ELT Education is organizing SHORT FILM CONTEST for students of Tishk International University to show and improve their artistic skills and raise awareness about TEACHERS IN ERBIL. The first session of the Student Skills Development Program was conducted on November 10th, 2016. The presentation was about Exchange Program Orientation presented by Pashew M. Nuri that was designed to help students apply for scholarship programs and get acquainted with skills such as connection building, application interface, recommendations, answering application questions, and the ways in which a scholarship application can be strengthened for better competition.
