A Heartwarming Iftar Gathering
On March 28th, 2024, the Computer Education Department, Faculty of Education at Tishk International University (TIU) arranged a special iftar event, promoting community spirit, and fellowship. The event was organized for the department’s male students, aiming to build community, fortify ties and promote camaraderie among both students and staff members. As the sun set, the attendees gathered to break their fast and share a meal, symbolizing the values of compassion, generosity, and togetherness.
Dr. Muhammad Anwar and the teachers of the Computer Education Department warmly greeted the students at the iftar event. The month of Ramadan is a period dedicated to fostering community cohesion, self-reflection, and gratitude. The students and staff members enjoyed the delicious variety of food, engaged in lively conversations, and shared interesting stories throughout the evening. Amidst the celebration of friendship and unity and the observance of Ramadan, the atmosphere was characterised by warmth, laughter, and a feeling of inclusion.
The event exhibited the compassionate and inclusive environment that is fostered by the Department of Computer Education. As the evening came to an end, the participants returned home filled with gratitude and appreciation for the deep connections formed and memorable moments during the gathering. The occasion not only improved the relationships between students and teachers, but it also perfectly captured the sense of belonging and community that characterizes the Faculty of Education at Tishk International University.
