6th International Spring Festival at Tishk International University

On March 8th, 2023, the 6th International Spring Festival was organized by Tishk International University, held under the theme of Women Empowerment. The Computer Education Department, Faculty of Education, had the opportunity to represent Korean culture at the festival, showcasing the country’s rich history and traditions. A Korean culture tent can refer to a temporary structure or exhibit that showcases various aspects of Korean culture. These tents are often set up at festivals, fairs, or cultural events to provide a glimpse into Korean traditions, art, music, food, and more.

The staff members designed a small traditional Korean house, displaying Korean calligraphy, artwork, and traditional clothing such as hanbok. Students and staff members also organized Korean dance, k-pop, taekwondo, music and martial arts. To further represent the culture, Korean cuisine was also featured, providing visitors with an opportunity to sample traditional dishes such as dumplings. The cultural tent organized and managed by the Department of Computer Education was a true representation of Korean culture and a unique opportunity for visitors to learn and experience its richness and diversity.
