Project-Based Python Training Bootcamp

The Computer Education Department,Faculty of Education at Tishk International University organized a Project-based Python Training Bootcamp to allow students to learn a new programming language. The training course was taught by Bryar Laiq, a third-grade student.

The python training bootcamp was aimed to teach participants the Python programming language. The bootcamp deliverables included:

  • Working on variables,
  • String manipulation,
  • Understanding data types,
  • Control flow,
  • Logical operators,
  • Randomization,
  • Loops,
  • Functions and kernel,
  • Parameters,
  • Dictionaries,
  • Nesting,
  • Functions with outputs,
  • How to find and fix errors in your code.

The training bootcamp started on the 5th of May 2022, lasting for three weeks; each week 2 hours of training were conducted (the total time was 12 hours).

Certificates were  presented to participants upon completion of the course on February 15th 2023 and an Plaque of Appreciation was presented to Bryar Laiq. Certificates of Appreciation were also handed by the Head of Department, Mr. Muhammed Anwar, to the organizing committee, Ms. Slvar Abdulazeez and Ms. Yara Arjuman. The Department of Computer Education recognizes the importance of acknowledging the hard work and accomplishments of its team members, and how it positively impacts morale and motivation. Receiving recognition from a leader can make team members feel valued and appreciated, which can, in turn, increase their engagement and productivity. It also creates a culture of positivity and celebration, which can help to build strong working relationships and a sense of community within the team and students. Therefore the senior department staff maintain this and ensure to hold appreciation activities for its hardworking team members.
