Second grade students presented their creativity through different posters under supervision of Mr. aydin for the plant taxonomy course. Student’s projects won pleasure of all attendance and were academically evaluated by jury members. Lastly 1st, 2nd and 3rd positions are evaluated by jury membranes, the tap three posters were presented in the university spring festival.

Model competition for the systems of human body

Thus, On February 27th, 2017, after weeks of working on their projects, students presented their projects and models along with oral presentation through active screen and posters. The information gathered during their search were of interest and all the students showed great involvement into the projects. Handmade models were presented and explained to their colleagues and evaluator. At the end of the sessions the best presentation and model has been chosen thoroughly and awarded best marks and certificates of appreciation. [...]

EDIBLE MODEL COMPETITION

Students have got some ideas from internet to prepare their projects, additionally some of the projects have been created by themselves. Students showed and explained their work and jury members evaluated their projects. Projects were evaluated, according their ingeniousness, diversity, originality, effort and explanation. At last, 1st, 2nd and 3rd positions have been determined by jury evaluation points. Project Based Learning

Harmand Ali who works as research assistant at Biology Education Department. The recent seminar has focused on the differences between traditional teaching method and PBL teaching method, and how it is important to apply the PBL method in our new education system?, especially in the process of teaching Biology in order to get the students engagement in the class and find out their creativity.
