Biology Education 2nd grade students have collected plant sample and they have prepared this samples for herbarium. This plant collection has showed and explained by this students to the visitors. Biology Education 2nd grade students gave information about this plants, their environment , their classificaton and their usage in our life.
On 11th March 2017 a poster presentation was held by biology’s second grade students in the entrance of education building. Second grade students presented their creativity through different posters under supervision of Mr. aydin for the plant taxonomy course. Student’s projects won pleasure of all attendance and were academically evaluated by jury members. Lastly 1st, 2nd and 3rd positions are evaluated by jury membranes, the tap three posters were presented in the university spring festival.

Biology department’s educators presented A national workshop under the title of (High school biology experiments workshop ) on Sunday 19th March, for high school teachers . The workshop included comprehensive information about showing some experiments to them in the laboratory , about using microscope , sample preparation , staining , and finding different species and the slides like protozoa , fungi and its parts , plant parts under microscope and also some kinds of bacteria’s species , and after that teachers joined with them by doing some experiments. A national seminar under the title of (Research Endeavour and Scientific Greed) has been presented in the Faculty of Education on Thursday 9th March, by Dr. Karzan Mohammad, the Head of Scientific Research Department at Tishk International University and Lecturer at Biology Department in Education Faculty. The students of first grade, biology department have been motivated, supervised and encouraged to perform a model competition for the systems of human body. Thus, On February 27th, 2017, after weeks of working on their projects, students presented their projects and models along with oral presentation through active screen and posters. The information gathered during their search were of interest and all the students showed great involvement into the projects. Handmade models were presented and explained to their colleagues and evaluator. At the end of the sessions the best presentation and model has been chosen thoroughly and awarded best marks and certificates of appreciation. [...]
