Mission:
The Mission of the Biology Education B.Sc. degree program is to prepare students for employment in various biology related areas and professional growth in the biological sciences by providing them a comprehensive coursework, hands-on laboratory training, educational field experiences, and opportunities for research, internships, and cooperative education.
Our Objectives
• Graduates will be competent in scientific reasoning and problem solving across the spectrum of disciplines within biology.
• Graduates will be able to teach the principles and fundamental concepts of biology.
• Graduates will be prepared for a wide variety of postgraduate opportunities, professional training programs and jobs in any area of biology.
• Graduates will be prepared for alternative education in the area of Biology through undergraduate research and internships.
• Graduates will be able to apply methods of scientific measurement, analyze experimental data and report experimental results in scientific format.
