On May 27, 2025, the Physics Education Department at Tishk International University hosted a vibrant poster presentation on <\/span>Technical English<\/span><\/strong> for its second-grade students. This event provided a valuable platform for students to creatively demonstrate their mastery of scientific and technical vocabulary through visually engaging displays.<\/span><\/p>\n

A Fusion of Language and Science<\/span><\/strong><\/h3>\n

Under the guidance of their lecturers, students prepared posters that served as a testament to their proficiency in technical language as it is applied to scientific communication. The primary objectives of this presentation were to:<\/span><\/p>\n

    \n
  • Strengthen students’ command<\/span><\/strong> of the specialized vocabulary used in physics.<\/span><\/li>\n
  • Enhance their academic confidence<\/span><\/strong> through public speaking and scientific presentation.<\/span><\/li>\n
  • Foster a collaborative environment<\/span><\/strong> for knowledge exchange among peers.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    The posters covered a wide range of topics, including <\/span>mechanics<\/span><\/strong>, <\/span>thermodynamics<\/span><\/strong>, and <\/span>electromagnetism<\/span><\/strong>, all presented with meticulously organized English descriptions and diagrams. The session drew attendance from department staff, lecturers, and fellow students, who engaged in thoughtful discussions with the presenters and commended their clarity, effort, and innovative approach.<\/span><\/p>\n

    The department extends its congratulations to all participating students for their commendable work and offers thanks to the faculty for their continuous support in bridging language skills with scientific education. This initiative reflects the department\u2019s unwavering commitment to integrating communication skills into the learning process, empowering students to excel academically and professionally.<\/span><\/p>\n
