The 11th National Young Researchers Conference (NAYREC-2024)<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Physics Education Department, Faculty of Education<\/a> at Tishk International University<\/a> (TIU) organised the 11th National Young Researchers Conference (NAYREC-2024) on May 23rd, 2024. For the past 11 years, this conference has been conducted annually and has consistently produced positive results. All preparations were completed by the Faculty of Education, which included the organisation, coordination, and evaluation of the abstract paper for each project to be presented. The conference secretary, Mr. Sebur Salih, the head of the scientific committee, Dr. Muhammad Hisham, and the head of the organising committee, Mr. Sivar Aziz, oversaw the event.<\/p>\n

The conference commenced with an opening ceremony that was hosted by Chra Idris Hadi, a student of TIU. The event was attended by Asst. Prof. Dr. Idris Hadi, Head of Board of Trustees, Asst. Prof. Dr. Mehmet \u00d6zdemir, Vice President, and Dr. Dogan \u00d6zdemir, Dean of the Faculty of Education. Three speeches were delivered following the inauguration: Asst. Prof. Dr. Idris Hadi, the Head of the Board of Trustees; Asst. Prof. Dr. Amir Abdulrahman, Advisor to the Minister of Higher Education for Scientific Research; and Dr. Pishtiwan Akram, the conference chair. The keynote address of the conference was delivered by Mr. Jacques Tredoux, the Principal of the British International School in Kurdistan (BISK), under the theme “Empowering Young Researchers Through Research, Positive Mindset, and Learning Opportunities.” Then, all participants were directed to their designated halls to commence the presentation of their projects. The conference was divided into two sessions, two coffee breaks, and a lunch break. Researchers and participants from other universities, such as Salahaddin University, Soran University, and Hawler Medical University, also participated and presented their research. The conference concluded at 16:30 with a closing ceremony, during which all participants, speakers, and organising committees were awarded certificates of appreciation for their hard work and dedication.<\/p>\n
