The Dean of Students Office at Tishk International University (TIU) organized the 7th International Festival of Language, Culture and Science at the TIU campus under the theme of \u201cThe Spring of Coexistence.\u201d The event, which took place on Thursday, May 25th, 2024, was attended by general consulates, politicians, parents, students, staff, and guests. The festival started at 10:00 AM with the national anthem, followed by a speech delivered by Prof. Dr. Sultan Abu-Orabi, President of Tishk International University, emphasizing the importance of such social and cultural activities. Dr Idris Hadi Salih, Head of the Board of Trustees, also gave a welcoming speech and discussed the festival\u2019s objectives. The festival featured over 25 tents dedicated to scientific exploration, under the AI trends theme.<\/p>\n
The Physics Education and Mathematic Education Department students represented Saudia Arabia in the festival, and student volunteers dressed in traditional Saudia Arabian clothing. The students also described the Saudia Arabian history and culture to visitors and served Saudia Arabian traditional food (Saudi Kabsa), dessert and coffee during the event. Our students also participated in food fundraising activity, in which they prepared homemade food, dessert and drinks for the event participants.<\/p>\n
