We organized an academic field trip to Darbandikhan Dam in Sulaimani. The purpose of the field trip was to observe and to learn how to produce electricity from dam. Our students significantly enhanced the content of the course by providing a type of information hard to convey in the class. We would like to thank the Head of hydroelectric power generation unit, Faruq Ahmed for accepting our request and introducing our students to Darbandikhan Dam."}
