On 05.04.2018, we organized an academic field trip to Dukan Dam in Sulaimani-Dukan. The purpose of the field trip was to observe and to learn how to produce electricity from the dams. Our students significantly enhanced the content of the course by providing a type of information hard to convey in the class. We would like to thank the Head of hydroelectric power generation unit, Ako Jamal Rasul for accepting our request and offering the scientific explanations and introducing our students to the Dukan dam.
