On January 26th, 2024, staff members of the Mathematics Education Department, Faculty of Education<\/a>\u00a0at\u00a0Tishk International University<\/a>\u00a0(TIU) staff embarked on a meaningful visit to the homes of five students in Ranya, Raladze, and Zharawa. The objective was to establish a deeper connection with students beyond the classroom and gain insights into their lives outside academia. Warmly received by the families, the visit provided an invaluable opportunity to witness diverse socio-economic backgrounds and engage in personal conversations that revealed the multifaceted lives of our students.<\/p>\n During the visit, the team shared experiences with the families, fostering a sense of community and understanding. A highlight of the day was a shared lunch in one of the households, symbolizing the communal spirit and creating an environment for open communication. These interactions contribute significantly to building stronger bonds between faculty and students, enabling us to tailor our support to individual needs.
