On December 7th, 2022, the head of the department accompanied by a department staff paid a visit to a public school in Kawrgosk, Hawler where a graduate of the department, Mr. Yusuf works and teaches mathematics. After last year\u2019s successful project with Batas High School for Boys\/Girls, it is once again part of this year\u2019s plan of the department to design a math classroom in public schools where our graduated students teach. This plan is a community-based project and aims at designing and equipping a classroom in public schools, painting, putting some mathematical items as well as smartboard and projector technology. One of the purposes is to keep in touch with our students and further support them. A key purpose indeed is to entertaining students more toward mathematics by showing more visual stuff using technology.<\/p>\n

This was the first visit to the school, and we wanted to see the school environment and the classroom size, space, and facility that we will be designing.
\nMoreover, in our visit we also met one of the principals of the school, we had a tour-around the school and discussed how the education goes nowadays.<\/p>\n

It is our hope and plan that we will design a very modern math classroom for them during this year.<\/p>\n
