5th Tishk International National Student Conference was held at Education Faculty on May 8th, 2018, in co-operation with the students. Vice Presidents, Deans of Faculties, and lecturers attended the conference.<\/p>\n
The event started with the opening speech by\u00a0Dr. S\u00fcleyman \u00c7elik<\/strong>\u00a0Chair of\u00a0NASCON<\/strong>\u00a0and the\u00a0Dean of Faculty of Education<\/em>. The keynote speech of the conference made by\u00a0Dr. Kamal Surji<\/strong>\u00a0Academic faculty member- Hawler Medical University<\/em><\/a>, Academic Consultant and Healthcare Provider-Board Certified Respiratory Care Tennessee, USA.<\/p>\n After the Keynote speech, the sessions for the presentation started in the classrooms. There were student speakers from different cities and universities around the KRG region. In total, there were 80 presentations in 8 classes, and there were approximately 350 people from Tishk International University and other universities.<\/p>\n In the closing ceremony, Aivar Lukman Surji head of organizing committee of the conference made a closing speech and stated that the event itself was educative for each single of the participant.<\/p>\n Faculty of Education has been highlighting the importance of Active Learning and Teaching from the beginning. This event realized and revealed how students of Tishk International University could become active learners and teachers. The event was organized and accomplished by the students of the Faculty of Education.<\/p>\n\n\t\t
