Mathematics Education Department recently organized the first National Conference on Pure and Applied Mathematics and Mathematics Education (NCPAME-2018) with the cooperation of Mathematics Department of College of Science, salahaddin University.<\/p>\n
The conference aimed to disseminate research findings and provide a platform for scholars to debate and exchange ideas that will promote pure and applied mathematics and mathematics education consumption awareness. Furthermore, the conference provided our graduate students a chance to establish communication with experienced researchers to discuss their current work as well as to be engaged in future research topics, and new opportunities.<\/p>\n
NCPAME-2018 conference organizers had 150 enthusiasts to attend two days conference this year, scheduled for February 11-12, 2018 at Mathematics Education Department of Tishk International University. The NCPAME-2018 conference is the largest of its nationwide. Prof. Dr. Jamal Ameen, University of Kurdistan-Hawler, and Prof. Dr. Parween Hummadi, Salahaddin University, were the keynote speakers of NCPAME-2018. Beside this two keynote speaker NCPAME-2018 conference provided 20 session speech\/presentation successfully in two sessions.<\/p>\n
The attendance of Dr. Idris Hadi Salih, Head of Board of Trustees and Dr. Ahmed Anwar Dizayi, President of Salahaddin University, was appreciated to the committee of conference and our guests.<\/p>\n\n\t\t
