Graduates will be equipped to inspire mathematical thinking, adapt to diverse classroom needs, and contribute meaningfully to the advancement of education in their communities.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Vision<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Imparting of quality mathematics education and the inculcating of the spirit of research through innovative teaching and research methodologies.<\/li>\n<li>To achieve high standards of excellence in generating and propagating knowledge in Mathematics. Department is committed to providing an education that combines rigorous academics with joy of discovery.<\/li>\n<li>To provide an environment where students can learn, become competent users of mathematics, and understand the use of mathematics in other disciplines.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Objective<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Graduates will be able to have a solid foundation in mathematics, including concepts in pre-calculus, finite mathematics, and advanced calculus.<\/p>\n<p>Graduates will be able to be proficient in fundamental mathematical theories, such as linear algebra, abstract algebra, complex analysis, and differential equations.<\/p>\n<p>Graduates will be able to acquire strong problem-solving skills and analytical thinking abilities through extensive practice in mathematics.<\/p>\n<p>Graduates will be able to enhance their English language proficiency for ease of communication, analysis, and evaluation of mathematical concepts and arguments.<\/p>\n<p>Graduates will be able to recognize the principles and methods of teaching mathematics, educational psychology, and pedagogical techniques, preparing them to effectively engage and teach students in mathematics.<\/p>\n<p>Graduates will be able to carry out research projects and develop skills in conducting independent research and presenting findings in the field of mathematics.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Mission \u00a0 The mission of the Mathematics Education B.Sc. degree program is to prepare students to become effective primary and secondary mathematics educators through a rigorous academic curriculum and practical experience, combining deep knowledge of pure and applied mathematics with pedagogical training and innovative teaching strategies informed by current educational research.
