In collaboration with Salahaddin University-Erbil<\/a>, the\u00a0Faculty of Education<\/a>\u00a0at\u00a0Tishk International University<\/a>\u00a0held its annual conference Educational Sciences and Applied Linguistics (VESAL), entitled \u201cEducational Breakthrough to Success<\/em>\u201d sponsored by\u00a0Korek Telecom<\/a>,\u00a0iCenter<\/a>,\u00a0Khoshnaw Group<\/a>.<\/p>\n The\u00a0VESAL 2022<\/a> conference attracted researchers from different local and international academic institutions. The conference was enriched by the presence of distinguished guests from the Ministry of Higher Education, Ministry of Education, and other related institutions.\u00a0Four valuable keynote speeches were presented on contemporary topics from various countries, including the United States, Germany, and Iraq.<\/p>\n The VESAL22 received 70 abstracts from universities and institutions worldwide, including Weber State University, the USA, G\u00f6ttingen University, Germany, and Monash University, Australia. The conference also received abstracts from the following local universities: Tishk International University, Salahaddin University-Erbil, University of Halabja, University of Duhok, Stirling Schools, University of Raparin,\u00a0 University of Duhok, Koya University, University of Garmian, Charmo University, and Darbandikhan Technical Institute.<\/p>\n The primary aim of the\u00a0\u00a0VESAL Conference<\/a> was to provide a platform for researchers, educators, and scholars with interests in the fields of teaching at all levels from around the world. We would like to thank all active students who helped make the event a success and thank all participants for joining the event. Education systems, however, are struggling to catch up with an overwhelming amount of information at students\u2019 fingertips. There is a growing need for soft skills such as empathy and creativity; educators at every level are facing the challenge of reinventing the classroom and reshaping the very system itself. During the changing times, the educators should rethink and rebuild the executive education that will help the learners to integrate global citizenship and social justice into their lives. A nation that effectively utilizes its resources is closely aligned with the thoughts, concepts, and culture of the individuals who make up the society and with the prudence, foresight, and sincere devotion of those in power.<\/p>\n The administrators that are responsible for the level of care given to individuals and their efforts toward becoming a social entity will be an indication of how closely aligned they are with the prophetic principle that \u201cAll of you are shepherds, and all of you are responsible for those under your care\u201d and that \u201cbeing glad about making others happy instead of self concerns. If the new generations\u2019 minds are equipped with the sciences of their time and their hearts are not lit up with breezes from beyond and if they are provided with ample education, with all their needs fulfilled and all opportunities available for them to succeed then they can look forward to a bright future. These future generations will be able to stand up to every kind of obstacle in the struggle of life, they will be able to overcome \u2013 material or spiritual \u2013 every kind of difficulty and will never give in to despair.
