On November 8th<\/sup>, 2017 English Language Teaching Department held a workshop to the staff members of Tishk International University presented by Lecturer Dr Basil Q. Muhammad who simultaneously published works on the subject. See more works\u00a0on You tube<\/a>\u00a0and Amazon<\/a><\/span>\u00a0<\/span>. The content of the workshop\u00a0was Qur\u2019an translation issues and major obstacles placed in translators path. The following items were covered.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Denotation alone or with implied meanings and connotations?<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

General sense or exegete?<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Translator or exegete?<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

The participants showed excellent engagement about the subjects that were demonstrated. Precious\u00a0ideas were also shared among the audience in regards of\u00a0Qur\u2019an\u00a0translation issues.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n
