On Thursday, 14 May at 3:00 PM<\/em><\/strong>, in the Education Building \u2013 Hall 302<\/strong><\/em>, a formal academic debate<\/strong><\/em> was conducted, bringing together students from multiple disciplines in a structured intellectual exchange of ideas and reasoning.<\/p>\n

The motion under discussion was:<\/strong>
\n\u201cShould hard skills be prioritized, or should soft skills and hard skills be considered equally important?\u201d<\/p>\n

The debate featured two well-prepared teams:<\/strong><\/p>\n

Proposition Side<\/strong><\/p>\n

* Abdullah Abad Almunaf<\/em><\/strong>
\n* Marwan Fahmy Georges<\/em><\/strong>
\n* Soma Wrya Kareem<\/em><\/strong>
\n* Warvan Bukhari Jamil<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Opposition Side<\/strong><\/p>\n

* Binayi Hikmat Abdulazeez<\/strong><\/em>
\n* Lizan Rasul Tofiq<\/strong><\/em>
\n* Othman Abdulqadir Ahmed<\/strong><\/em>
\n* Shahad Arsalan Akram<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

Throughout the session, both teams demonstrated strong analytical thinking, structured argumentation, and academic confidence. The discussion reflected a high level of engagement, critical reflection, and respectful intellectual dialogue.<\/p>\n

After careful evaluation by the distinguished jury members: Mrs. Mardin, Mr. Soran, and Mr. Reman, the results were announced.<\/p>\n

The Education Team was declared the WINNER of the debate competition, in recognition of their clarity of arguments, coherence of structure, and effective critical engagement with the topic.<\/p>\n

The event concluded as a meaningful academic experience that emphasized the value of dialogue, reasoning, and collaborative learning within higher education.<\/p>\n
