Joint Event by Goethe Institute and TIU’s ELT Department<\/h3>\n

Held on November 20, 2025 \u2013 TIU Campus, Erbil<\/strong><\/p>\n

Tishk International University is pleased to announce the successful conclusion of the\u00a0International Workshop on \u201cThe Kurdish Language Textbook in Transition,\u201d<\/strong>\u00a0a collaborative event between the\u00a0Goethe Institute<\/strong>\u00a0and the\u00a0English Language Teaching Department, Faculty of Education, TIU<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The workshop brought together a distinguished group of\u00a0international and local scholars, policymakers, and language educators<\/strong>\u00a0for a full day of discussion, knowledge-sharing, and collaborative planning for the future of Kurdish language education in the Kurdistan Region.<\/p>\n

A Day of Collaboration and Insight<\/h3>\n

With increasing cultural and linguistic diversity in the Kurdistan Region, the workshop addressed the growing need for\u00a0structured, high-quality Kurdish language instruction for non-native adult speakers<\/strong>. Drawing on global practices, the event offered a dynamic platform for comparing educational models, exploring challenges, and identifying opportunities for reform.<\/p>\n
