We are thrilled to announce the successful completion of a classroom redesign project led by our outstanding research students as a community service initiative. This project was proudly supported by the <\/span>ELT Department<\/span><\/strong> and <\/span>Tishk International University<\/span><\/strong>.<\/span><\/p>\n

The goal was to convert a traditional, teacher-centered classroom into a modern, interactive, and student-focused learning space that fosters creativity, collaboration, and engagement\u2014aligning with today\u2019s educational needs.<\/span><\/p>\n

The Project Team<\/span><\/strong><\/h3>\n

This initiative was made possible by the dedication of our students:<\/span><\/p>\n

    The project was expertly supervised and guided by:<\/span><\/p>\n

    • Dr. Venera Ulker<\/span><\/strong> \u2013 Head of the English Language Teaching Department<\/span><\/li>\n
    • Dr. Unal Ulker<\/span><\/strong> \u2013 Research Supervisor<\/span><\/li>\n
    • Behcet Celik<\/span><\/strong> \u2013 Head of School Experiences<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      Project Stages and Timeline<\/span><\/strong><\/h3>\n

      The project was completed through four distinct stages:<\/span><\/p>\n

        \n
      1. Stage 1 \u2013 December 1, 2024:<\/span><\/strong> The students visited the school where they were conducting their practice teaching to request official permission. The school administration warmly welcomed their proposal and approved the project.<\/span><\/li>\n
      2. Stage 2 \u2013 Planning & Design:<\/span><\/strong> With input from their supervisors, the students developed a comprehensive plan based on educational research and modern classroom design principles.<\/span><\/li>\n
      3. Stage 3 \u2013 Implementation:<\/span><\/strong> They redesigned the space with flexible furniture, interactive technology, and a layout aimed at boosting student engagement and learning.<\/span><\/li>\n
      4. Stage 4 \u2013 Completion & Handover \u2013 February 9, 2025:<\/span><\/strong> The redesigned classroom was finalized and officially handed over to the school. Both students and teachers expressed appreciation for the transformation.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

        A Lasting Impact<\/span><\/strong><\/h3>\n

        A huge congratulations to our students and academic mentors for their dedication and teamwork. This project is a shining example of how future educators can make a real difference in their communities by applying their academic skills to address real-world needs.<\/span><\/p>\n
