The English Language Teaching (ELT) Department, Faculty of Education<\/a> at Tishk International University (TIU)<\/a> proudly announces its collaboration with Ishik Ronaki International School<\/a> in organizing exciting events aimed at enhancing English language skills among second-grade students. The Spelling Bee was held on March 3rd, 2024, and the English Day event was held on March 5th, 2024. The organizers from consisted of Ms Aivar L. Surji, Ms Lydya Aso, and Mr Adem Daskan in collaboration with Mrs. Rabia Daskan, a teacher at Ishik & Nilufer Schools.<\/p>\n The Spelling Bee competition exhibited the exceptional spelling abilities of the young participants, who displayed remarkable linguistic proficiency and determination. Ms. Aivar L. Surji, Ms. Lydya Aso, and Mr. Adem Daskan served as judges and speakers at the Spelling Bee event. The event not only fostered the development of students’ vocabulary but also strengthened their confidence and public speaking\u00a0skills. The Spelling Bee concluded with several victors, demonstrating the young learners’ expertise and diligence.<\/p>\n After the Spelling Bee, the English Day festivities proceeded with a range of activities specifically crafted to involve students in the process of learning English in an enjoyable and interactive manner. Students from the ELT Department participated in the English Day event as representatives, alongside the lecturers.
