English Language Teaching Department Community Service Project<\/strong><\/p>\n

An outstanding example of student initiative and community involvement, a group of committed students from the English Language Department<\/a>, Faculty of Education at Tishk International University (TIU) <\/a>organized a fundraising event that not only raised sufficient amount of funding but also promoted community spirit and helped improve local education.<\/p>\n

The initiative was organised by ELT students Ivan Majid, Abdulmalik Faysal, Muhammad Ghanim, and Rasyan Rasti. It started with a basic concept and rapidly expanded into a community-wide endeavour. Under the guidance of ELT staff members Ms. Lydya Aso, Ms. Soma Hassan, and Ms. Shahida Nurmatova<\/strong>, the students successfully arranged a food sale that received a generous response from the university community, resulting in an impressive total. The funds raised were strategically distributed to support essential projects at a nearby public school, improving the educational setting and directly addressing the school\u2019s operational requirements, such as the critical installation of new heating systems and the repair of broken doors and windows to ensure a safer and more sustainable environment.<\/p>\n
